Note that this particular student has to practice the and The separately. Each time we do this, I reinforce the idea that this is the exact same word, but has a big letter rather than a little letter at the beginning.

Lesson Four
Review sounds: a, c, d, g, h, m, n, o, r, soft-s, hard-s and t Build words: tag, Dad Review sight words: the, The, a, O.K. Read Set 1, Book 3 (“Dot”) pp. 1-4.
Lesson Five
Sounds to review: a, c, d, g, h, m, n, o, r, soft-s, hard-s and t Build words: man, Dan Review sight word: the, The, a, O.K. Read Set 1, Book 3 (“Dot”) pp. 5-8.
