Once again, I added a new word to an old chart. This time, I added “her” to the -er chart. The word “are” doesn’t quite follow a rule, but I find children pick it up faster if I explain that it is like an ar blend word. Eventually, I need to start a chart for y says I as in fly, my, etcetera. One more word, and I will.
