Lesson One
- Review appropriate sections in the binder.
- Read: Set K, Book 8 (“Frog Sat”) pp. all
I only had my daughter read this through once because it was so easy for her. I would have skipped it entirely except that (1) she really wanted to read it and (2) I think that practice builds confidence and has its own value. We don’t have to push progress every single day. One of my major goals is to get my students to love reading, and if reading something a little easy for them that they like will take me one step in that direction, I’m willing to do that every now and then. Progress is the goal, but not the only goal.
