Some people might introduce the tch as a separate blend. I have noticed, however, that most students simply use the ch rule here without issue. IF your student is tripped up by words like pitch, you could make a blends card and treat it as a separate sound rule, and that would be fine. I just haven’t had to do that for my students (yet…never say never, I suppose!).
