Bob Books Set 2, Book 4 teaches two major concepts. The first is quotation marks, and you can read an entire post about teaching those here. The second will be included in today’s post, and that is teaching the sh sound.
Because I prescribe a thorough conversation about quotation marks in the first lesson, we only have our students read a couple of pages that day. We are committed, if you recall, to short lesson — only 10 or 15 minutes per day.
The rest of the book is pretty simple, and so we read it all for the second lesson.

For this blend, it is fun to practice telling people to be quiet — put the index fingers to the lips and say shhhhh!
