- Read: Kindergarten Sight Words, Book 5 (“As Big As”) all
I tend to offer my students Book 5 before I offer them Book 4. This is because Book 5 doesn’t actually introduce anything new–it’s just practice. Book 4 introduces the word who, and I don’t usually want to do that when what I’m really looking for is some extra practice. You, naturally, can do whatever you like. I like to throw in the sight words books where I think they fit best with the regular series, offering extra practice before moving on.
As you can see, this is another time when the review was simple reinforcement, requiring only one lesson to complete the book.
