- Introduce new blend: or
- Introduce new sight words: we, push
- Review appropriate sections in the binder.
- Read: Set 3, Book 4 (“The Red Car”) 7-ff
Please note that when you introduce the or blend, you can take for and or off of your sight words list. They are now–ta da!–rule-following words.
The word push is a sight word that uses the sh digraph. Don’t be afraid to reinforce the sh rule while simultaneously teaching it as a sight word (due to the less common sound the u makes in the word).
