It struck me as strange that my girls read this book so differently. Daughter A. had a very hard time with it, and we could only read a few pages at a time. It felt so hard. Daughter Q. flew through it without any assistance at all. This just goes to show that we really do need to pace the lessons for each student, rather than trying to make them all fit the same lesson mold.
